Jenny Yang is a Los Angeles-based writer and comic (jennyyang.tv, @jennyyangtv). Jenny’s live performances feature her signature mix of biting social commentary, sunny enthusiasm, and unflinching disregard for microphone volume.
A top three finalist out of ninety comediennes in the California's Funniest Female comedy competition in 2012, she can be seen alongside comedy legends in Joan Rivers' Showtime documentary, "Why We Laugh: Funny Women"(2013). Jenny has performed on The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts stage in Washington, DC and at comedy clubs and colleges throughout Southern California.
Jenny co-founded the first-ever all female, Asian American standup comedy tour, Dis/orient/ed Comedy, which debuted in 2012 to sold-out audiences. The mission of Dis/orient/ed Comedy (disorientedcomedy.com) is to highlight the powerful, diverse and funny voices of Asian American female comedians. (more about Jenny)
